CVR Episodes – The Georgetown Choral Society

Though descended from an earlier community choir dating to the early 20th century the Georgetown Choral Society has delighted audiences under that name since 1971, and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2021.

Under the direction of Christopher Dawes since spring 2017, the Choir of approximately 80 members offers a mixed menu of genres and works, has performed at such venues as Roy Thomson Hall and the Mississauga Living Arts Centre, and toured Holland, England and Ireland.
